Terms & conditions.
1. Quotes & estimates
All prices published on this site and quoted verbally are estimates only and can vary depending on the specific job, parts availability and machine work required. A written quotation supersedes any general price list.
2. VAT
Prices are quoted plus VAT at 20% unless stated otherwise. Trade prices available on application.
3. Exchange basis
All refurbished engines are supplied on an exchange basis, or preferably with your existing engine to be refurbished. Core components must be salvageable with machine work for the exchange price to apply.
4. Deposits & payment
A deposit may be required to secure a build slot or order parts. Balance is payable on completion, before collection or shipping. We accept bank transfer and card payment.
5. Lead times
Lead times are indicative and depend on workshop workload and parts supply. We’ll keep you updated as your job progresses.
6. Customer-supplied parts
We reserve the right to charge up to 20% of the part cost on customer-supplied parts. We cannot warranty any parts not supplied by us.
7. Strip-down & inspection
If after strip-down and inspection the customer chooses not to proceed, a flat charge of £150 plus VAT applies. Storage is charged at our monthly rate until the engine or parts are collected.
8. Late collection
Completed engines and gearboxes not collected within one week are charged storage at £40 per month.
9. Shipping & delivery
All parts, engines and gearboxes must be checked on receipt and any fault or damage reported within 14 days of delivery. Shipping insurance is optional and any damage or loss in transit is between the customer and the courier.
10. Warranty
Engines and parts are supplied subject to our engine warranty terms. Nothing in these terms affects the customer’s statutory rights.
